❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of Nerf blasters are allowed?
Any official Nerf blaster is fine. No realistic-looking, automatic (battery-powered), or heavily modded blasters, please.
Do I need to bring darts?
Sure! We'll have a limited amount of darts hidden around the property in "caches," but bringing your own is highly recommended.
Can parents play?
Of course! Adults are welcome to join in the fun — or help supervise zombie activity 😁
Is it going to be too hot to play outside?
We'll take breaks often and have shaded areas and water available. You're encouraged to bring hats, sunscreen, and water bottles.
What should players wear?
Wear lightweight, comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Bright colors are great for team visibility. Avoid heavy clothing or open-toe sandals.
How physical is the game?
It’s light physical activity — mostly running, dodging, hiding, and tagging. Safety comes first, and we take regular breaks to rest and rehydrate.
What if it rains?
A little rain doesn't hurt anybody. But if severe weather is expected, we will communicate any changes.
Can we bring our own goggles or safety glasses?
Definitely. We will provide some eye protection, but feel free to bring your own if you'd prefer a personal pair.
Is this appropraite for younger kids?
While all ages are welcome to attend and watch, please note that this event is designed for kids ages 8 and up and may not be suitable for children under 8 due to the fast-paced action and Nerf gear in play.
Will there be water or snacks?
Yes! We'll have plenty of bottled water, drinks, and light snacks available throughout the game. For dinner, we'll be serving hot dogs and pizza—plus, of course, birthday cake!.
Is it safe?
Yes! All players are required to wear eye protection, and the rules prohibit headshots and physical contact beyond tagging. There will be adult supervision in every game zone.
